With SnapCards, you can send beautifully designed wedding thank-you cards that include a personalised video message – because sometimes, words on a card just aren’t enough.

We wanted to thank our guests for helping make our wedding one of the best days of our lives. However, the thought of writing 100+ thank you cards didn’t sit well with us, but we we also didn’t want to just order a generic wedding thank-you card – we wanted it to personal – to be special. That’s where SnapCards saved the day! After sending them out, we received a lot of great feedback.

Can I watch the SnapCard after I record it?

Yes, the same phone on which the video was created will be able to rewatch the video from the recipients perspective.

My phone doesn't recognise the QR code?

On iPhone

Go to Settings > Camera and make sure Scan QR Codes is toggled on.

On Android

Open your Camera app, go to Settings (the gear or cog icon), and ensure Scan QR codes is toggled on.

Can I add effects or combine multiple videos?

We recommend using CapCut to customise your video. You can use special effects, combine videos and even add music! You can then upload your amazing creation to your SnapCard.

Can I save the video?

Absolutely, there is a download button under the video when you watch it back. It will save to your phones 'Files / Downloads' directory.

Can I use the same video on multiple cards?

Sure can, you can save and upload the same video to multiple cards.

Business accounts can view and select from their own recent video library.

Can I write a message on the card myself?

Most SnapCards have a graphic image on the front with space for a name, but they all have a lot of room on the back if you want to add another message there too.

Do I need an app or an account?

No. SnapCards are easier than traditional cards – and we would like to think we have taken away the burden for both the gift giver and the recipient. No account or app is required to record or play the video.

How long will my custom / wedding SnapCard order take

Typically we would allow 3 - 4 weeks, this ensures we have time to email you a proof of the design for your approval (2-3 Business days), Make any changes you need and send a proof for approval, Print your SnapCards (allow 2-3 weeks), and then allow for shipping it to you asap.

What is the privacy and security like?

We take privacy very seriously - as all businesses should.

Our video hosting platform has SOC 2 Type I Attestation security and compliance is uploaded over secure https connection and encrypted when being stored using LUKS encryption and Amazon S3-managed keys. Our video host implements application-level security through continuous monitoring with third-party tools and constant penetration testing.

Each SnapCard QR code is encrypted with a unique token so that no one can ever guess the URL of your SnapCard.

If that's too technical, then please know that we have made all effort to balance ease-of-use (no accounts or apps required) and your privacy and device security.

Remember, anyone who can see your physical SnapCard can scan the QR code and watch the video, so we encourage our customers to only share videos they would be comfortable with their grandma seeing.
